AHP, afterhyperpolarization; the amplitude of the AHP was measured from threshold of the action potential to the peak. The time to peak of AHP was measured from the peak of the action potential to the peak of the AHP. Ih, time-dependent inward rectification measured as the ratio of membrane deflection at the end and the peak of a hyperpolarizing current pulse (duration 300 ms, 0.3–0.5 nA). Firing frequency adaptation, the ratio between the last interspike interval and the first interspike interval at given depolarizing current pulses (0.35–0.7 nA, duration 300 ms).
