A summary of the basic intrinsic properties of layer V pyramidal neurons in somatosensory cortex of wild-type (n = 24) and Fmr1 knockout (KO) (n = 31) mice. These include resting potential (Vm), resting input resistance (Rin), time constant (τ), threshold or rheobase current (Ith), threshold potential (Vth), and sag potential (mV, measured from the response to a –100-pA step). Mean values are shown ± SE. No differences are significant.
